Happy Tuesday!

We started our day reading this great Math book! It got our brains thinking and trying new multiplication strategies. For example, did you know, when multiplying by 7, you can first multiply by 5, and then by two, and then add together for the answer? It's true! Let's try!

Ex: 7 x 12

5 x 12 = 60    

2 x 12 = 24     

60 + 24 = 84, therefore 7 x 12 = 84! Cool!

1. Calcul mental - "Double" Section A -Thursday

2. "Toothbrush homework" - Please start thinking about 4 goals you would like to accomplish this year (2 academic and 2 outside of school). Also start considering how you will accomplish these goals (action plan). We will continue writing our goals for the year later this week.

3. We are starting a graphing unit in Science this week. Please ensure you have a pencil and ruler. Graph paper will be provided by Mme Careen.
