A very happy Wednesday, friends!
It's a very exciting day in Room 208! 2 of our tomato seeds - one from Group N and one from Group P - have germinated!
These results came as a bit of a surprise; at 10:00 when we made our daily observations, we saw only the stems, but by the end of the morning (11:50) both had sprouted 2 cotyledons (small embryonic leaves) which is what we need to see in order to count the seeds as germinated! Hooray!
In other morning news: in Math we continued to work on multiples and in Francais, we played a new game - Qui suis-je? Pirate Edition - before spending time working on our goal planning for the year.
Please ask me about my goals for the year. Please also ask me to recite some multiples for you. (We find that hopping on one foot while saying them aloud makes it especially fun! 😄 )
Have a great afternoon! :)
