Hello, learning friends! Happy New Year!
It's great to be back! We were full of energy, smiles and great winter-break stories this morning and were happy to see our classmates once again.
This morning we did a "Trouve quelqu'un qui" bingo-type activity which allowed us to move around the room and ask questions (in French) to our classroom friends.
Mme then read us the story Rouge by Michael Hall.
Our final activity for the morning was an interview with a classmate. We started by asking each other a list of questions, "What is your least favourite colour," "What is your favourite food," etc. Mme then surprised us by turning our answers into a silly Mad-Lib story. We had a lot of fun reading the stories to our partners and laughed a lot at some of the answers! Please ask me about my silly-story interview:
What colour is my hair? How much of my least favourite food do I eat everyday?
Wishing you a great week!

AGENDA
1. Time to start French home reading again! If you've been out of routine over the break, today is a great day to login to Je lis and get started again!
2. Time for a bit of organization! This week, students have been asked to take a look at their binders and their supply boxes to see what sort of state they are in. They have also been asked to check their supplies. Do they need more pencils? Pens? Did they even get dividers put into their binder? Can they finally bring in a Hilroy scribbler for Math? Please check in with your child to make sure they are set for a great second term!
