Hello learning families! Happy Monday!
We had a busy morning in Room 208.
In Math, we started with Halloween math puzzles before beginning our first lesson with factors.
In Science, we took time to write and draw our Tomatosphere observations and got a first glimpse at the science demonstration we'll be starting in class tomorrow.
In Français, after our daily reading time, we started studying a new short story, "Suresh le garçon qui venait de loin" and were able to discuss our prediction ideas with our table partners before writing our prediction as a whole class. We will work on this article this week using "les 4 fantastiques" which is the same reading strategy we used when studying the Terry Fox article at the beginning of the year.
We also had time in Français to correct and put the finishing touches on our "tableau d'inspiration" which we created using PowerPoint on the laptops. Most students have now uploaded their work into Showbie so they can share their work with you at home!
Students will have a chance to share their work with the class when we start the presentations of our goals Wednesday of this week.
