Hello, families!
We had busy - but great! - morning together.
We took Math outside this morning! Working in pairs, we completed a Thanksgiving "Amazing Race" activity, that included Math and Français questions! Congrats to everyone for their great effort! :) |
In Science, we put a beaker of water on a hot plate and recorded the temperature every minute for 11 minutes. We will use this data to review and practice our graphing skills next week. |
In Français, we created "Thankful Pumpkins" as a way to publish our writing. We worked in the gymnasium so we could spread out and work collaboratively - while still social distancing - in groups. |
Check out this video of us working!
We each wrote 10 things we are thankful for; writing one sentence on each orange strip. We then followed a set of instructions Mme laid out for us to put our pumpkins together. |
Here is our socially distanced Thanksgiving class picture! |
And here is Mme Careen's attempt at a panoramic shot, so that she could get a bit closer to see our lovely, smiling-behind-our-mask faces! :) |
Wishing you all a very safe and restful Thanksgiving long weekend!
Enjoy the sunshine - and the pie! :)
